Greetings, my name is Carole Gilmore. I was born and raised up and down the East Coast, making me a true Nor’Easter. I moved to Texas over twenty years ago with my husband and children. My first attempt at playing golf occurred nearly 17 years ago. Unfortunately, it was put on hold because shortly after beginning lessons, I found out I was pregnant. In 2021, after surviving the pandemic, I decided to take up the game of golf again. I began retaking lessons, found Diamonds on the Green in March of that year, and became a member. Since joining Diamonds on the Green, I have played as often as possible. Golf is my happy place, and it is a place I love sharing with others. Being a member of DOTG allows you to network, develop friendships and learn new things about the game of golf regularly. As President of the Frisco chapter, I invite you to connect with us so you can find out why we love golf as much as we do!
