FOUNDER / CEO
Sharron Christian is the founder of Diamonds on the Green, a Women’s Golf Club/Organization in the Dallas Metroplex Area(McKinney, TX). Sharron’s passion for golf put her on a mission to help the minority youth obtain unclaimed monies for scholarships through networking and reaching out to the community for assistance. Through this effort and determination, a Youth Golf Program/ DC on the Green has been implemented and is sponsored by Diamonds on the Green & DCSportsDFW which also teaches the youth life skills.
Sharron founded a non-profit organization 15 years ago called, Women of Integrity, which initially started out as a social book club and partially evolved in focusing on supporting and empowering battered women. In addition to reading books, WOI was created with a passion to capture the attention of positive women that could make a difference in the community by telling their stories of triumph and how they overcame adversities, life challenges, life disappointments and broken hearts.
To date, Sharron is a member and serves on the Board of Directors for Heroes, Cops and Kids organization, whereas she plays the role of STORM from X-Men that mentors the youth and visits terminally ill children.
Most recently, Sharron was an Entertainment Writer for one of DFW’s well known minority newspapers and served on the Board of Directors for Granny’s Place (transition home for aged out foster children). Outside of community engagements, Sharron is the mother of two who keeps her busy and abreast of new and innovative ideas.
