Francienne E Newsom Brice is a published writer, speaker, and visionary. She serves alongside her husband, Dr. James E Brice, Sr. here at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, Tyler, Texas as his help met, personal assistant. Mrs. Brice is a full-time Registered Nurse and a Pastor's Wife. Mrs. Brice serves as Safety Director at Progressive, where she has developed, coordinated, and implemented occupational health policies and procedures to promote and ensure effective safety operations in the church. She also serves as the Social Media Director, with the compassion of spreading God's word. A gifted writer, Mrs. Brice first publication, Building An Effective Women's Ministry, in 2006, MPIP, Tampa, Florida, and her second publication Koinonia, in 2010, Galilee MBC, Hallsville, Texas, Singles Ministry Leader. In 2020, AHFSA Volume 1, Issue 44 published Brice's third publication, We Are Stronger Together, A Surveyor Story of Encouragement. She broadcast a weekly segment on encouragement, For This is the day the Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad. The Brice's are currently working on a book, "You and I, a marriage made by God". The Brice's are registered through the State of Texas, as Marriage counselors, Together in Texas. A Nursing major in college, Mrs. Brice has also lent her expertise to Parents of Children with Special Needs and Respite Care. She has served on the Governance Council for nursing, Covid -19 Clinics. She established Health Care Stations in her local Churches back home in Indiana. She is the Director of the Nurses Ministry at Progressive. She is a Member of the Greater East Texas Black Nurses Association. And the National Black Nurses Association. An Avid Golfer she can be found on the golf course besides her husband, if not on a Golf course she may be traveling to see what the Lord has made she believes, that God has made this whole world to be traveled. She is the VP of East Texas Diamonds on the Green, where the mission is to mentor the younger generation through golf while adding flavor to the game, Member of Sisters across America (To provide support and mentoring for young minority women who pursue a professional career in golf. She has always believed it is important for a woman to set the atmosphere in their home; it is what you do with the house that makes it a home. She is an avid decorator who loves to make a house a home. Brice's biblically grounded knowledge allows her to share with believers and non-believers alike through the ministries in and out of the church, based on the Great Commission. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Mrs. Brice and her husband have five children and she is lovingly called "Maw, Maw" by her seven grandchildren.
