Natasha McCrary


Natasha is the current President of the Diamonds the Green (DOTG) Alabama (AL) Chapter in Huntsville. Natasha took an interest in golf around 2010 but really didn’t start playing actively until July 2019.


Natasha was born in Mississippi and raised in Huntsville. After graduating from JOJ High School in 1990, she attended Alabama A & M University. Natasha joined the United States Navy in 1994 as an Airman and in 1995 was transferred to the Inactive Ready Reserves (IRR). While on IRR, Natasha graduated from Virginia College in 1997 with a Diploma in Medical Assisting & enrolled in an Associate’s Degree program soon after. In 2000, she transferred to the Active Ready Reserves and challenged the exam for Hospital Corpsman and passed on the 1st try and she was also awarded the rank of Third Class Petty Officer, E4. In 2002, Natasha graduated from Virginia College with an Associate’s Degree in Medical Office Management and from Oakwood University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Organizational Management. In 2008, she graduated from Columbia College with her  Master’s Degree in Business Management (MBA). Between 2010 & 2015, she also received three Certifications in Financial Management & one in Program Management. In 2016, Natasha obtained another Associate’s Degree in Practical Nursing from the Community College of the Air Force.


Natasha currently works for the government as a Budget Analyst and she has her own catering business, K’ala-Makes It Special. She’s an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She’s been a Cub Scout Leader for over 10 years serving as a Den Leader, Cub Scout Master, & committee member. She retired as a Master Sergeant (MSgt) from the Air Force Reserves in May 2019 after 25 total years of service.


Natasha has three children Nia (also a member of DOTG), Emmanuel, and Elijah. She also has three grandchildren Paige, Kaiden, and Noah. All of her grandchildren are working on their golf  games.

Andrea Turner 

Andrea is the current Vice-President of the Diamonds the Green (DOTG) Alabama (AL) Chapter in Huntsville. Andrea has always been a very athletic person with interest in a variety of sports. She began seriously engaging in golf activities late 2015. She joined DOTG-AL in 2019 to increase golf skills, share the learning experience with other likeminded ladies, and enjoy traveling and the game of golf.

Andrea was born in Germany, raised in Detroit, Michigan, graduated high school in Ashville, Alabama. After graduating from high school in 1986, she joined the United States Air Force and served active duty for 26 years. Her last assignment, prior to moving to Madison, AL, was Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, where she retired in the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. Over the course of her 26 year military career she served as a professional military education (PME) instructor, Military Training Leader (MTL), Moral Welfare and Recreation (MWR) Superintendent, Honor Guard Superintendent, Force Support Superintendent, and Protocol Officer. 

Andrea has a Master’s Degree from Florida Institute of Technology in Business Administration, a Master’s Degree from Troy University in Public Administration, a Bachelor’s Degree from Faulkner University in Human Resource Management, a certificate in Homeland Security from Rutgers University, and a few of associates degrees from the Community College of the Air Force.

Andrea currently serves as the Executive Assistant to the Command Sergeant Major at Army Materiel Command. She is a licensed Realtor with Chanda Davis Real Estate. She’s an active member of Kappa Epsilon Psi Military Sorority, Incorporated, where she is serving as the secretary for the Huntsville chapter. Andrea loves to travel, loves all types of sports, has a very adventurous spirit, and loves the New Orleans Saints. Who Dat! 

Andrea birthed two young men, Kavossia, residing in Michigan and Martell, residing in Mississippi.  She also has two grandchildren. 



Sonya Mapp


Sonya manages the Social Media & Communications  for Diamonds on the Green (DOTG) Alabama (AL) Chapter in Huntsville, AL and has been an active member since July 2019.


Sonya is from Cherokee, AL and has been a resident of Huntsville, AL since September 2011. After graduating from Cherokee Vocational High School in 1986, she attended the University of North Alabama where she received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business Administrations in August 1991. Upon graduation, Sonya began working for the Federal Government as an Administrative Assistant. She currently works for the Federal Government as a Budget Analyst with 25 years of service.


Sonya is an active member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Harvest, AL where she serves in the choir. Her hobbies include singing, playing piano, listening to music, dancing, working out, golfing, reading, and shopping!


Sonya is also the proud mother of two sons, D’Montra, who is also a graduate of the University of North Alabama and Christian, who is a Senior at Lake Braddock Secondary School in Burke, VA.
