Hello my name is Ruby Crenshaw. I just wanted to share a little bit about me.
I am a native South Floridian where I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I am the 4th child of 6 children. I graduated from Florida Memorial University with my Bachelors Degree and Nova Southeastern University with my Masters Degree.
I relocated to Atlanta, Ga in 2017 to start my insurance business - The Crenshaw Agency : Insurance Services located in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, Ga. I am a mother of 1 son and grandmother to 1 grandson - Eldrich & Elijah.
I started playing golf in Miami with my grandson when I signed us both up for golf lessons. We both took to the sport and we play together we can.
I'm not an advanced golfer but I am excited about being the president of the Atlanta Chapter of Diamonds on the Green and look forward to an exciting venture, meeting new people, learning more about the sport and just having fun.
Hi I’m Kenya. A Georgia native, I was introduced to the sport of golf in 2020, as the result of desperately needed pandemic relief. In addition, as a finance professional in corporate America, I was often in attendance at country club functions with my colleagues who carried active memberships with these establishments. I quickly identified a common bond in the group that I did not share, a bond that offered networking opportunities and offline support to which I had no access. I initially sought out golfing for a professional leveling up initiative, however when I began to actively learn and play the game, I was totally hook! Golf was a sport that offered so many benefits. I was able to enhance my physical and mental stamina, a sport I could play alone or with a group, network with people from varying professions, foster new friendships, and enjoy the quiet serenity of playing some of the most beautiful courses around. So as Vice President of Diamonds on the Green-Atlanta, I look forward to enjoying the game that I have come to love dearly with a body of quality, like-minded ladies in friendly competition and sisterhood. Hit em straight!
